Ministry of Education of Kingdom of SCS agreed with the establishment for working of this school, in which regular teaching began in Octobre 1922/23. Till 1932. this schol was the part of the elementary school in Old Bar, and that year it became an indipendent institution with its own administration. The dutu of the head was done by the teachers Nikola Klisic and Marko Kaludjerovic. Till 1957. the school was four-classed and that year it chanded info eight-classed.

There were 508 students regisered info 16 classes and there vere 19 teachers. The first director was Petar-Peko Soc. In 1963. the president of Mexiko- Adolfo Lopez Mates -visited our contry and in the name of Government and people of Mexiko gave the school buiding as a gift.

Soon it was built in Bar and started with working on 8 th february 1964. The first director of the school, with this name, was Savo Lekic and in the following time the directors were Borislav Stojovic, Milutin Kovacevic, Radovan Vojinovic, Milan Danilovic, Biljana Masonicic and Zvonimir Knezevic.

In 1979. the eartguake made a lot of demages to the school buiding and it was necessary to build a new school buiding on the other location. In 1986. school moved to a lot of demages to the scholbuilding and it was necessary to build a new school building on the other location.

In 1986. school moved to a new modern building in Popovici with the best conditions for work. The Ambassy of Mexiko in Belgrade gave the big financial support and permanently was intereste in workig of this school.

There was a great colobration between the school "Mexiko" and the school "Republic of Yugoslavia" in Guadalahara (Mexiko). Due to its work this school got many prizes like: "Oktoih" the biggest republic prize in teaching, the prize of citu Bar - "24 novembar" and the prize "Stana Tomasevic Arnesen" and many others.
